Christmas Wishes(I know it's a little early)

Slowly and gently
with certain care
Their hopes and wishes
are hung up there
On the mantle
Waiting for love
And gifts aplenty
Tonight
Their Christmas dreams
float through their mind
hopes of Santa
make them blind
to all around them
wishful thinking

  1. Wow.... That's really good. I can't write poetry at all!

  4. Aww, now you're making me want Christmas! This poem is amazing! I can't write poetry very well (unless it starts out as a story), so I like this very much.

  5. I like this poem. It gives you a whole new perspective of Christmas, of the wishes and hopes. But the love and the family are the most important things.
